At least this way they will only download the file after they have posted..
So they can at least say thanks for the file ya see :)

There the ones that look silly m8, if they cant be bothered to type
"cheers for this mate" and not "thanks" then its a poor shame init..

This is one of the reasons for installing the Thanks button as well...
I'm gonna try to get it sorted so that you have to say thanks to download...
that will be better, at least this way the members get some recognition for providing downloads and usefull info :)

its a good idea m8, bit like some forums who password there files so peeps have to post to get the password, that password is only given out after x amount of people have begun sharing the files.:D

And yes I think it’s a good idea as long as you don't louse the topic of the convection because there are 100s of "thanks" and things.

Does hundreds of thank you posts not clutter up the forums and use up Unnecessary
space and bandwith I think just putting a Thank you Button is the best idea

Thank you buttons ect would make it a lot easyer in my view rather than posting thanks.
I noticed that there is a thank you button so why not have that used instead of cluttering up the forum, unless say a newbie like me have to reach a set amount of posts.
Still it will be a spamers delight to post till they get the right amount so in that way it`s like a wast of bandwith and space/
