What is this for. Please help

I have this programmer looks like a sim card which you can insert in the cam prity much. No name on it only say ISO7816 / RS232 Interface SI_SMD V2.0

Is got one COM port DB9. I have included some pics. If someone knows what is is for and what software needed Ill apprechiate it.

its for programming magic modules on early sat boxes ,
dont know if it does owt else?
